On 2 April 2021, Deepto TV organized "ACI Deepto Krishi Awards 2020" at Tejgaon in the capital to acknowledge farmers, who dedicatedly contributed to the country's agricultural advancement. ACI Seed participated in the agro fair organized at the Deepto TV premises. It showcased different crops seed with its modern technology, rice developed with own R&D, vegetables and other crop varieties. This program was graced by the presence of Dr Muhammad Abdur Razzaque, M.P, Honourable Minister, Ministry of Agriculture. He visited the stall of ACI Seed. This year ACI Seed provided 5 seed potato varieties in the field. The varieties are namely Aromata (dry matter 19%), Valencia (dry matter 21%), Aroma (dry matter 21%), Cartagena (dry matter 19%), & Alexia (dry matter 19%) are sourced from the Netherlands. Among these Aromata, Valencia and Alexia are suitable for industrial usage to make French fry, chips etc. which is highly appreciated by Agriculture Minister. Besides, encouragement from the Minister for ACI to conduct this type of new variety to make the farmers profitable was remarkable.
