In April 2019, ACI Seed organized a day-long staff training session on rice seedling production and entrepreneurship under the ‘Entrepreneurship Development through Rice Seedling Project’. Ten ACI Seed field personnel from different levels were present at the Training of the Trainers (ToT) session. Trainer from BADC as well as in-house resource person was present at the training session. As part of the entrepreneurship development program, in total 40 lead farmers received training who were identified as prospective entrepreneurs. The participants get oriented with quality rice seedling production technology, business strategy, and entrepreneurship. As part of the project, four training sessions were conducted on issues related to rice seedling production technology. Resource person from ACI Seed and DAE were present making the training successful. ACI Seed will produce 20 acre hybrid rice seedling which will be transplanted 320 acre farmers field during Aman Season 2019.
