In October 2019, ACI Seed and International Development Enterprises - Bangladesh (iDE-B) made an agreement for a joint action plan for developing Village Model Farmers (VMFs) and Local Business Advisors (LBAs) as the company’s Sales Agent. With iDE-B’s “Suchana- Ending the Cycle of under nutrition in Bangladesh” program, the newly launched joint action plan will introduce a new sales channel as a model of entrepreneurship in Sylhet and Moulovibazar. In total 50 entrepreneurs will work for ACI seed as extended hand to reach remote areas. The broader objective of the collaboration between ACI Seed and iDE-B is to create the demand for quality inputs (vegetable seeds) and to establish a well-functioning inputs supply system along with technical services in the rural areas of Sylhet and Moulvibazar districts.
