ACI Seed conducted massive promotional work to promote ACI Seed Potato across the country with 300 no field demonstrations. Among the demonstrations, a huge meeting was conducted at Borail Village of Khetlal Upazilla Jaypurhat district where Additional Deputy Director from Department of Agriculture chaired the event. Upazila Agriculture Officer of Khetlal Upazila was also present. Around 60000 MT Seed potato demand comes from Jaypurhat district. Around 300 Farmers were present in the event and saw the performance of ACI Seed potato. Farmers became happy to see the performance of ACI seed potato at field level having zero complain about the quality and performance of the product. ACI Seed provided variety having no virus complain, vigorous performance, 8-9 tuber per hill, attractive color that ensure additional 10% yield from competitive variety. This year ACI Seed shared about 40% of Asterics seed market of Borail Upazilla. Additional Deputy Director thanked ACI Seed for supplying quality seed potato among the farmers level.
