Asha is a promising variety of tomato of ACI Seed. The Business is giving a special focus on the variety considering the market potentiality. The specialty of the variety is excellent uniform and attractive fruit color as well as higher marketable yield. The cultivation period of the variety is August to November. The fruit weight is 120-130 gram. The average yield is 35-40 MT per acre. Besides, the storage capacity is 7-10 days and suitable for long time transportation.
ACI Seed arranged a field day program on Tomato – Asha at Nakla, Sherpur on 26 January 2022. Mr. Alok Chandra Sil, Area Sales Manager and Mr. Jakir Hossain, Territory Executive of ACI Seed were present in the program. More than 70 farmers and retailers participated in the event. The Officials of ACI Seed discussed the characteristics and performance of the variety. The demo farmer Mr. Insur Ali was very pleased to get the excellent result of Asha.
