ACI Seed started a month-long roadshow event to promote quality seeds in association with RDC project of ACDIVOCA from 7 January 2020. The roadshow for southern region of Bangladesh was inaugurated at Khamarbari Barishal where the chief guest was Additional Director, DAE, Barishal. Other guests included Deputy Director, DAE, Barishal, Additional Deputy Director, DAE, Barishal, Upazilla Agriculture Officer Barishal, AEO, Barishal and SAAO of Barishal region. From ACI Seed, Sales Manager, Regional Sales Manager, South, Area Sales Manager, Barisal, Marketing officer, Barisal, Sr. PDS officer, and Project coordinators were present in the event. Five representatives from different development agencies participated in the inauguration ceremony.
As part of the roadshow, a branded mini-covered van will travel across 10 districts of southern Bangladesh to promote quality products of ACI Seed with leaflet, poster, audio, video, and festoon. The participants of the inaugural ceremony are expecting that through this roadshow farmers of southern region will get an opportunity to know the modern seed variety and relevant product technology.
