ACI Seed conducted a multi-location trial of promising watermelon variety in Chuadanga and found remarkably promising performance. Now summer watermelon is coming in ACI’s range of products. Excellent prolificacy with standard Brix is expected to lead the summer watermelon market. Watermelon has a good market demand across the country. However, there is still a shortage of quality seed for summer watermelon. With the upcoming promising variety, the gap is expected to be minimized up to a significant extent.
