Outstanding Field Performance for ACI Seed’s Hybrid Bottle Gourd ‘Moyna’

Originally developed by ACI Seed’s research team, the Hybrid bottle gourd Moyna is showing outstanding performance in the fields. Moyna is a year-round variety having fruit weight of 1.5 to 2 Kg. Moreover, farmers start harvesting from 50-55 days after transplantation, yielding an amount of 30 to 35 tons per acre on average. In November 2020, Kbd. Md. Hamidur Rahman, former Director General, Department of Agricultural Extension (DAE), MoA went for a feild visit at Chuadanga to observe the outstanding performance of this hybrid bottle gourd variety.
