In FY 2020-21, customers had exchanged 417 unit old power tillers with brand new ones from ACI Motors. First started in October 2019 with a fair at Gopalganj, the exchange offer enabled customers to bring their old power tillers and get a better value while exchanging it with a brand new ACI Power Tiller. So far 604 customers availed the exchange offer. Apart from dedicated exchange points countrywide, 18 dealer points also joined in to promote the offer.
The business model of Power Tiller exchange benefits the farmers, old Power Tiller resellers and trade partners altogether by creating a common platform for each party to maximize their benefits. ACI Motors aims to digitalize this exchange through an app based platform to ease accessing the platform for farmers and exchange any of their agricultural machinery. It is creating a new genre in the Agricultural Machinery eco-system to diversify the opportunities with technology.
