In November 2019, ACI Fertilizer organized a month-long special campaign in major potato cultivating areas – Rangpur, Nilphamari, Dinajpur, Thakurgaon, Panchagarh, Bogura, Joypurhat, Munshigonj and Cumilla. Area Managers of these areas, their territory officers, and product management were directly involved in this campaign around the whole month. Potato is one of the main crops in current ‘Rabi’ season. Farmers are much concerned about potato cultivation this year since rice is comparatively low in price.
One of the major activities was group campaign which is a meeting with farmers in a specific area, prescribing fertilizers depending on farmers’ crops and queries. Besides, roadshow, demonstrations to the farmers and communication with retailers regarding various products’ benefits and applications were also parts of the campaign. Organic, Ratno and Micro-Nutrient Fertilizers were the main products for this special campaign program.
