ACI Seed is one of the pioneers in seed potato production and marketing in Bangladesh. Last month it arranged a field visit program for the dealers, retailers, farmers and sales team at Dinajpur and Thakurgaon to observe different potato varietal performance at different production blocks. Over 100 dealers, retailers and farmers of 8 districts participated in the program.
The participants visited the certified and net house field and showed their satisfaction to see the overall production and quality process of seed potato. Honorable Business Director - Mr. Sudhir Chandra Nath, Business Manager - Mr. Mizanur Rahaman, General Manager, Sales – Mr. Shahinur Rahman, Portfolio Manager, Sales and Production team of ACI Seed were present in the program.
In the workshop, ACI high officials discussed the production technology and quality process of seed potato production. The dealers, retailers and farmers also provided their valuable comments and suggestions regarding the sales and marketing of seed potato, specially the new varieties. The Business also worked out with the dealers regarding the next season sales forecast. ACI Seed awarded 20 dealers with valuable gifts for their sales performance in last season. ACI Seed expects to harvest the projected sales of seed potato in the next season.
