The digital strategy team of ACI Agribusiness conducted introductory workshops on Rupali application in Jashore, Gopalganj, Khulna, Bagherhat, Sathkhira and Dhaka with the objective to enhance awareness and usage centering Rupali. Since its launch in June 2019, Rupali has received a tremendous response as it already garnered 32k downloads and received much fanfare from the users for its intuitive and user-friendly interface along with its structured mode for disseminating aquaculture advisory.

Mr Rafiqual Islam Khan, Specialist, Aquaculture, ACI Agribusiness & Mr Borhan Uddin Ahmed, Aqua Executive, ACI Agribusiness were the resource persons present during the workshops. The participants at these workshops included all district level DoF officials, hatchery owners, nursery owners etc. The resource persons walked the audience through the various facets of Rupali such as “Question Bank”, “Knowledge Bank”, “Product Catalog”, “My Pond” & input calculators. There were also discussions on pond preparation, culture methods and post-harvest to-dos. Finally, each workshop ended with a feedback session. One of the most popular suggestions was to make ACI aqua products readily available.
